Sydney

Sydney is a lovely city. In many ways, it reminded us of home. Iconic architecture? Check. Beautiful and accessible outdoors? Check. Fabulous food? Double check plus. Sydney was also the first place we’d stayed in months where everyone spoke English, albeit with a ridiculous accent. We had a wonderful time running along the waterfront, taking the ferry, and wandering around town. We also had the opportunity to meet up with Squadrun for a lovely jaunt through the Blue Mountains. As they say, what a beaut!

YiOu runs through the jungle in the Blue Mountains. Kerry told us not to stop because leeches would worm their way into our shoes. We didn't stop to find out if it was true.
